God's Heritage Ministries International is a vision from the womb of God—a divine heartbeat concerning a great and mighty people that will herald the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are a people zealous for the work of God, committed to serving the Lord effectively with integrity and true stewardship unto the Perfect-Day.
Founded in 1991 through a spectacular spiritual encounter, God's Heritage has a triple-pronged mandate: affecting and impacting the world (Matthew 28:18-20), reviving the church (Ezra 9:9, Isaiah 32:15-18), and bringing many sons to glory (Hebrews 2:10).
This is a 'called out' people—a vision characterized by a great demonstration of God's power, drawing people out from occult backgrounds, demon possession, captivity, sickness, ignorance, and apostasy to serve the living God. In God's Heritage, there is no unused member! Everyone is transformed by the power of God and mobilized to play a part in affecting the world and reviving the church.

"My Glory Cover You" - The Birth of a Vision
Rev. Felix Akara, the Founding Minister and Senior Pastor of God's Heritage Ministries International, received a spectacular divine encounter on August 7th, 1986. This encounter birthed the powerful vision that has transformed thousands of lives across the world.
It began in 1985 when a young couple, fresh from a 6-month fast, came to evangelize. That day marked Rev. Akara's salvation—a moment when he felt "plugged to electricity," vibrating with divine energy. From that day, he became a zealous evangelist, witnessing incredible miracles, signs, and wonders wherever he went.
On August 7th, 1986, the Lord appeared to him in a vision. In a stadium filled with thousands, Jesus—first appearing as a young man in a blue safari suit—transformed before his eyes and declared: "My Glory Cover You." In that moment, Rev. Akara was lifted to see the nations of the earth, growing incrementally tall until he could behold mountain peaks across the world. A voice commanded: "This is an ailing world, go help it with the power of the gospel."
From the university chaplaincy where he served with incredible power for 5 years, to the inauguration of God's Heritage Ministries International on August 31st, 1991 with just 6 members, Rev. Akara has remained faithful to the mandate. Today, the ministry impacts lives globally through mighty demonstrations of God's power.

PRAY THIS PRAYER WITH A BELIEVING HEART:
Dear LORD, I come to you, acknowledging that I have sinned against you and done evil. I have gone astray and have not done what is right before you. I ask for forgiveness and for cleansing. I believe that Jesus died for me and was raised again for my justification. He paid my debts on the cross of Calvary.
I receive the Lord Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Saviour. Write my name in the book of life. Remove my name from the book of death, sorrow and pain. All covenants, curses, agreements, links and ties working contrary to my life are hereby destroyed in Jesus name.
Today I have become a new creation, old things are passed away. I receive grace to live a new life. In Jesus name. Amen.
